Comments Regarding Data Collection for Gainful Employment and Financial Value Transparency

In February 2024, the Department of Education, in compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act, posted information about data it plans to collect to implement new Gainful Employment and Financial Value Transparency regulations.

In response, New America's Higher Education team submitted public comments expressing support for the data collection, which is essential for for implementing important new protections for college students. The New America team also offered advice for clarifying the data collection instructions.
