Maresa Strano and Matt Rothschild wrote for Wisconsin State Journal, arguing for instituting citizen-led initiatives in Wisconsin.

Citizen-led initiatives don’t replace state legislatures, of course. They also give lawmakers better feedback on public preferences, often prompting preemptive action or useful compromise.
