In recent months, there have been near-daily reports of political violence in Jerusalem, the world's most hotly contested city. It is the 'volcanic core' of the Israeli-Palestinian and Israeli-Arab conflicts. How do the Palestinian and Israeli narratives regarding Jerusalem differ and how does that impact their shared use of the city? What are the circumstances that have made Jerusalem so extremely volatile at this particular moment?
