Rachel Fishman was quoted in Bloomberg Government on standardizing financial aid award letters:

The letters show that some colleges could be leading students to choose a school they will ultimately be unable to afford, said Rachel Fishman, a deputy director with New America’s Higher Education Initiative who is working on the study. She has advocated for standardizing the first page of all award letters, no matter what the school.

“Once you start putting requirements around standardization of terms, formats, making sure cost is on there, you’re only a few steps away from ‘Why don’t we just standardized of the whole first page students are seeing?’” Fishman said.
