Apprenticeship is a proven educational strategy that provides workers with affordable job training and helps employers build a qualified workforce. With demand for college-educated workers as high as ever, though, the benefits of the model can only be fully realized when apprenticeship programs connect to degree pathways at colleges and universities.

Several states have already implemented financing strategies that support closer connections between the applied experience of apprenticeship and the long-term career-building potential of college degrees. In this webinar, New America’s Center on Education & Skills (CESNA) and NGA Solutions explore different state approaches to supporting the expansion of quality apprenticeships. Representatives from Kentucky, Texas, and North Carolina join in to discuss policies and practices that have helped their states succeed.
