Neil: As civic tech champions, we've always been about how technology can truly open up government and the public sector and I don't think it's gotten us that far over the past few decades, but AI has the possibility to truly level the playing field.

Lilian: We have more state-level AI bills that are going up in terms of guardrails and privacy protections that I think have also in some ways created opportunities for states to not only lead with the guardrails but also to really lead on the implementation front.
