Sheri Bernard Trivedi was the Director of Strategic Practices at the New Practice Lab, focused on building and scaling the project and organizational practices and principles of the Lab in hiring, goal setting, and other strategic operations.
Before joining the New Practice Lab full-time in December of 2022, Trivedi spent time as a Designer in Residence Fellow, consulting with the Lab on UX best practices applied to key ongoing projects. She was previously with the United States Digital Service (USDS), originally as a user experience content strategist working on projects at the Department of Agriculture, Veterans Affairs, Office of Personnel Management, and Social Security Administration, and spending the remainder of her 2.5 challenging and fulfilling years at USDS as their Director of Design. Trivedi came to civic tech delivery after 12 years in user experience at private sector companies including GitHub, Salesforce, and Autodesk.
Originally from Northern California, and after four years living and working in Washington, DC, Trivedi and her husband have returned to their beloved home in Seattle, Washington. She enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with friends, neighbors, and family.
