Shawn Arnwine was a fellow with New America's Public Interest Technology program, focused on foster care. He spent the majority of his 17-year career supporting information technology projects across various federal agencies including the Department of Defense, Department of State and Social Security Administration. Most recently Arnwine served with the U.S. Digital Service at the Department of Veterans Affairs (DSVA), where he led the effort resulting in DSVA being the first team at the VA to run production systems in the cloud. With a people, process, and policies-first approach, Arnwine strives to build relationships and implement solutions that satisfy not just short-term efforts, but that add value agency-wide.
Arnwine currently resides outside of Annapolis, Md., where he and his wife are constantly exhausted trying to keep up with their three-year old son.
