Scott A. Smitson

LTC Scott A. Smitson, U.S. Army, Ph.D., is an Army strategist currently serving on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon. He served in the Commander’s Action Group (CAG), at U.S. Central Command from 2014 to 2016, with prior assignments as a US-UK Planner in the UK Ministry of Defence, and as a faculty member of the Department of Social Sciences at West Point.
