Revati Prasad

COMPASS Fellow, Ranking Digital Rights, Open Technology Institute

Revati Prasad was a COMPASS fellow with the Ranking Digital Rights team working on analyzing the 2015 Corporate Accountability Index data and helping to prepare for its next iteration. She came to RDR from The Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, where she is a doctoral student focusing on the political economy of news media and technology in the Global South. Before coming to Annenberg, Revati worked for Internews, an international NGO that supports the development of local media, where she focused on research and evaluation of programs, most significantly in Afghanistan and Kenya. She has also worked for the International Monetary Fund on bilateral debt issues, and researched nuclear proliferation at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. She has an MPA in Development Management from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University as well as a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and a BA in Political Science from Ohio University.
