Melissa Baker is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of California, Merced. Her work is focused on the cognition—especially affective cognition—behind political information processing, political evaluation, and expression of political attitudes. She has published her interdisciplinary work in journals such as Emotion, Social Justice Research, and Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B.
