Lisa Johnson was the senior communications manager for New America’s Open Technology Institute, where she led OTI’s communications strategy, media relations, and brand visibility.
Before joining New America, Johnson worked for global nonprofit Accion in Washington, D.C., where she led a range of media, engagement, and partnership activities. Prior to that, Johnson worked for the World Bank Group in New York, N.Y., where she supported communications and partnerships efforts between the World Bank Group and the United Nations. Johnson holds a B.A. from New York University and an M.A. from American University.
