Julia Healey-Parera is an undergraduate student at Duke University studying Computer Science and Statistical Science. As an aspiring public interest data scientist, she has experience working in state government and various non-profits. During the summer of 2025, Healey-Parera interned with New America’s Teaching, Learning, and Tech division as part of the build4good program. She continues to support the build4good network as a member of the Alumni Advisory Council and as a leader in the alumni network’s open-source project committee.
