Gabriella Gricius-Abbott was an intern with the Future of Land and Housing program at New America. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Science with subfields in International Relations, Comparative Politics, and Environmental Policy at Colorado State University where her research centers on questions of security and natural resource governance in the Arctic. Gricius holds a B.A. in International Relations and German Language from Boston University, an M.A. in International Security from the University of Groningen, and a Certificate of Journalism from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
