Dave Weinstein was a fellow in New America’s Cybersecurity Initiative. He is the vice president of threat research at Claroty, Inc. Prior to joining Claroty he served as the chief technology officer of New Jersey. He began his career an operations planner at U.S. Cyber Command and holds degrees from Johns Hopkins University and Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. His analysis and commentary on cybersecurity have been published in numerous sources, including but not limited to: the Wall Street Journal, Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, Bloomberg, the Boston Globe, CNN and the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs.
