Caroline Klibanoff is the Executive Director of Made By Us, a network of hundreds of cultural institutions joining forces to meet Millennials and Gen Z where they are with timely, relevant history to inform and inspire civic participation, through efforts like Civic Season (Juneteenth to July 4th), a new tradition leading up to the nation’s 250th anniversary. A public historian and strategist, Klibanoff has worked in the cultural, civic engagement, and public opinion sectors for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, the MIT Museum, Bridge Alliance, Big Tent Nation, the American Civic Collaboration Awards, the Pew Research Center, and the Frameworks Institute. She is a frequent writer and speaker on Gen Z, civic culture, and commemorative practice.

Klibanoff holds an MA in Public History and Digital Humanities from Northeastern University and a BA in American Studies from Georgetown University.
