Brittany Thomas was a Legal and Special Projects intern with New America's Open Technology Institute, working with the platform accountability and privacy teams. She currently attends Fordham University School of Law, where she served as Privacy Educator, Editorial Fellow, and Online Privacy Project Fellow for the Center on Law and Information Privacy. Prior to her time at OTI, she interned at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office and worked in television content strategy. These work experiences led to her interest in the evolving policy space around privacy, equity, and technological advancement. Brittany holds a B.A. in Classics and Anthropology from Colby College.
