Brenda Mora Perea

Program Manager, Public Interest Technology University Network

Brenda Mora Perea is the program manager for the Public Interest Technology University Network.

Prior to joining New America, Perea worked as the Director of Education to Workforce Solutions at a SaaS technology company working with global enterprise organizations to launch their talent management initiatives with digital credentials.

Prior to that, Perea worked for the Colorado Community College System managing work identified in 3 of the U.S. Dept. of Labor TAACCCT grants. She specialized in building collaboration between 13 colleges, 39 campuses and Colorado’s leading businesses and industries. 

Previous to her work with Colorado Community College System, Perea worked as a consultant coaching organizations to implement and launch system-wide initiatives in the areas of talent pipeline management, training development and industry certifications, and organizational needs analysis. 

Perea is a certified credential specialist from the Institute for Credential Excellence, a certified DACUM facilitator, and a certified Prosci Change Management Practitioner.

Perea holds a master’s degree in Education with a dual major in Learning Science and Educational Technology and has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a dual major in finance and marketing.
