Barbara Natterson-Horowitz, MD, is on the faculty of the Harvard University Department of Human Evolutionary Biology. As a cardiologist and professor of medicine at UCLA, she cofounded the Evolutionary Medicine Program. She is president-elect of the International Society for Evolution, Medicine, and Public Health.
