Amanda Isabel Martinez was the Higher Education Intern at New America. She focused on affordability, transparency, and equity issues within Higher Education. Prior to joining New America, she worked with student groups on affordability issues in California. An L.A. native and a product of public higher education she graduated from California State University, Fullerton. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in public policy at American University.
