Alessandra Jonkhout is a M.Res student in Asian Studies at Leiden University, where she researches digital media and China’s public diplomacy, and a research assistant at the Leiden Asia Centre, a partner in producing the DigiChina Digest. She graduated cum laude from Leiden University with a B.A. in International Studies.
