International Security Advisory Council

New America's International Security Advisory Council works directly with Peter Bergen, director of the International Security Program, and Anne-Marie Slaughter, president and CEO of New America, to help advance the creativity and impact of the organization’s international security policy work. The council supports the program and contributes to the research design through private roundtables and public conferences. The council also helps identify priorities, ideas and innovations responsive to the big questions facing American decision-makers.
