New America has won the 2017 Prospect Magazine "Best U.S. Social Policy Think Tank" Award.
During the award ceremony in London, representatives from Prospect said New America's work "is of the highest quality and has been influential," and has taken an "important and extremely well-grounded look" at the fields of job training and creation.
New America won this category in 2015 as well. This year's win reinforces comments made by judges in 2015, where New America was praised for its “ambitious” and “wide-reaching" research, and was commended for "becoming more and more visible on the international stage.
