Modern Bridge-Builders in a Digital, Tech-Driven Global Economy

Event

International comparisons support the view that the Nordic model is successful in reconciling economic efficiency with social equality, rapid growth, high employment, and stable democracies. Despite success, the Nordic model, like most countries, face serious challenges in a world of divided political agendas and electoral upheaval. However, their platform of openness, good governance, and international cooperation might just serve as a model for societies and business and across the globe to weather rapid technological and demographic changes, alongside continued political and economic upheaval.

Please join New America President & CEO, Anne-Marie Slaughter and the first pan-Nordic think tank, Nordic West Office, CEO Risto Penttilä for an innovative and pragmatic discussion on the importance of global leadership and cooperation for business and society. They will be joined by an informative panel of business and policy leaders to discuss how global corporations and societies both prepare for the future, and also stress test their strategies for resiliency and preparedness in the new world order.

Lunch will be served.
