My Favorite Movie with Surgeon General Vivek Murthy: E.T. the Extra Terrestrial

Join U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy for a screening and discussion of E.T. the Extraterrestrial, the 1982 Steven Spielberg classic. The film tells the story of a young boy’s connection with an unexpected visitor, exploring the depths of our universe and the importance of friendship.

This is the latest installment of our “My Favorite Movie” series featuring tech and science thought leaders hosting their favorite movies, and short conversations about them. Future Tense and Surgeon General Murthy will be screening E.T. at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 9th at Washington, D.C.'s Landmark E Street Cinema at 555 11th Street NW.
