#ShareTheMicInCyber Fellows Launch: Doing the Work

Event

We are thrilled to invite you to join New America as it celebrates the inaugural cohort of #ShareTheMicInCyber Fellows. Join us as we introduce our Fellows, and hear from other prominent leaders in cybersecurity who are also “doing the work” of diversifying our field.

The day’s event will not only introduce our inaugural cohort, but also feature speakers who are doing the work of diversifying the cybersecurity sector. A keynote speech will be delivered by the Principal Deputy National Cyber Director Kemba Walden. We are also excited to host a panel, featuring Girl Security, Black Tech Street, and Google, to discuss what work is currently being done to diversify and empower minority individuals within cybersecurity, and thoughts on how to continue moving our sector forward towards being more inclusive and more reflective of American society.
