Washington, DC — Today, New America has launched the Fellows Archive, a dedicated, purpose-built platform designed to showcase the invaluable contributions of New America’s esteemed National Fellows. The digital archive stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of New America’s great thinkers, providing a comprehensive catalog of their insightful books, films, podcasts, and longform articles.

For more than 20 years, New America’s National Fellows have generated big, bold ideas that have sparked new public conversations about the most pressing issues of our times. The Fellows Archive offers access to the intellectual wealth produced by the National Fellows, spanning various disciplines—from climate change and poverty to race and class in America and more.

“Amid the challenges and complexities of our modern world, the National Fellows Program is a beacon of intellectual vigor and moral courage, driving forward conversations on critical public issues,” said Anne-Marie Slaughter, CEO of New America. “The fellowship has long nurtured diverse ideas and voices, building a community where experienced writers can mentor first-time book authors, peers can encourage peers, and everyone can benefit from engagement across disciplines and creative practices."

To date, the National Fellows accolades include:

  • 4 Pulitzer-Prize winners
  • 16 NPR’s Books We Love
  • 18 New York Times bestsellers

“In an era where funding for ambitious projects is scarce, the National Fellows program is essential,” said Awista Ayub, National Fellows Program Director. “The fellowship enables some of the most formidable thinkers the chance to transform their ideas into impactful books, films, podcasts, and more, generating new conversations and catalyzing positive change.”

With a catalog of more than 200 works to date, and new ones being added all the time, the Fellows Archive is home to the projects created by the journalists, scholars, filmmakers, and public policy analysts who are National Fellows. From writers like Nikole Hannah-Jones and Clint Smith to podcaster Vann R. Newkirk III and filmmakers Julian Brave NoiseCat and Emily Kassie, the Fellows Archive contains hundreds of books, podcasts, films, and magazine articles that change the way we see the world.

To date, National Fellows have produced:
