Holy War, Inc.: Inside the Secret World of Osama bin Laden is an extraordinary, in-depth account of Osama bin Laden and his global network by CNN?s terrorism analyst, Peter L. Bergen. One of only a handful of western journalists to have met and interviewed bin Laden, Bergen has done an exhaustive job of researching the man and the Jihadist network of al-Qaeda-the prime suspects in the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks of September 11.

Over the last four years Peter Bergen has traveled to the places where al-Qaeda has flourished -- among them Afghanistan, Yemen, Egypt, England, and Pakistan -- to learn the truth about a man revered by millions and wanted dead or alive by millions more. He has interviewed scores of people-from close friends of bin Laden to Taliban cabinet members to former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto.

In Holy War, Inc., Bergen helps us to see bin Laden's organization in a radically new light: as a veritable corporation that has adopted twenty-first-century communications and weapons technologies in order to advance an almost medieval interpretation of holy war.
