Exploring California's Investment in DLL-Focused Professional Learning for Early Childhood Educators

In 2018, California invested $5 million to better train and prepare the early educator workforce to meet the needs of dual language learners (DLLs), who now make up almost 60 percent of young children (0-5) in the state.
