Exploring the American Degree Apprenticeship Landscape
Event
Degree apprenticeship is an emerging strategy in the US to facilitate access to college degrees while also providing extensive paid, mentored on-the-job training. Over the past year, the Center on Education & Labor at New America has been conducting a count of these programs and exploring what a quality degree apprenticeship looks like.
We warmly invite you to join us at 2:00 pm ET on February 3 for a webinar highlighting key findings from our national landscape of degree apprenticeships report and a panel of current employers and education partners in degree apprenticeships. The webinar will highlight common occupations in degree apprenticeships, the degrees they incorporate, and the states and characteristics of the higher education institutions that offer them, along with five aspirational quality principles for their effective implementation and exemplary programs that are putting the principles into action. Panelists will also discuss opportunities for degree apprenticeship to grow and barriers to replicate and how they might be overcome.
