Where AFRICOM Conducted Strikes in Somalia in 2020

On February 23, 2023, United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) provided New America with a list of dates and locations where AFRICOM conducted strikes in Somalia in 2020. AFRICOM also stated that it conducted 52 strikes in Somalia that year – some of the entries reflect multiple strikes. The table of locations and dates provided by AFRICOM is reproduced below. Though AFRICOM does have a page listing strikes in 2020 on its website, that page does not include every strike recorded below.
