Molly G. Martin

Molly G. Martin is the Vice President of Development and Strategy at New America, where she works to shape, measure, implement, and fund strategic opportunities for the organization.

From 2022-26, Martin served as Director of Strategy at the organization. In 2017-2021, Martin was the Director of New America Indianapolis, where she worked with local communities across the Rust Belt on issues of racial and economic equity.

Prior to joining New America, Martin spent 10 years at Lumina Foundation, focused on organizational learning; effective philanthropic practice; and higher education policy. Martin is also an award-winning freelance writer; worked at Butler University and Indiana University; and directed marketing for a health care startup.
