Karen J. Greenberg

Karen J. Greenberg is a Future Security Fellow at New America and a Non-Resident Fellow at the Reiss Center on Law and Security at New York University. She is a noted authority on national security and has written and edited several books on the war on terror and its legacy, including The Least Worst Place: Guantanamo’s First One Hundred Days (Oxford, 2009), The Torture Papers (Cambridge, 2005), Rogue Justice (Crown, 2016), and Subtle Tools (Princeton, 2021). She co-hosts the SpyTalk podcast and is a frequent guest and contributor to news outlets and Substacks.
