Maika Moulite is the Social Media Manager at New America.
Moulite develops the organization’s online voice by creating and implementing its social strategy and collaborating across New America’s various programs. Before joining New America, she led the social development of various non-profits, travel tourism brands, and more.
Moulite is also the author of young adult novels including Dear Haiti, Love Alaine and One of the Good Ones published via HarperCollins imprint Inkyard Press. Her forthcoming novel, The Summer I Ate the Rich will be published with FSG Young Readers, an imprint of Macmillan. She co-writes with her sister, Maritza Moulite, and their work has been featured on NPR, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and the Today Show.
Moulite is currently a PhD Candidate in Communication, Culture & Media Studies at Howard University. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Florida State University. She loves writing, stories of all kinds, and audiobooks.
