[ONLINE] - The Future of Irregular Warfare

Event

This event is hosted from 4-5pm AZ Time / 7-8pm Eastern time.

The Arizona State University's Center on the Future of War is a partnership between ASU and New America, a DC-based think tank, exploring the future of conflict and working to address global security challenges.

In a global political era defined by strategic competition between the world's great powers, what is the role of irregular warfare in U.S. grand strategy? Why is the United States so bad at irregular warfare and why do its adversaries think it’s so good at it?  Dr Ken Gleiman, Professor of Practice in ASU's Future Security Initiative and MA in Global Security, along with several colleagues are writing the book on this: Winning the Peace: Irregular Warfare and Strategic Competition. (Due out in early 2024). Join Ken for a casual discussion on the themes of the book and some reflections on the process.
