Understanding the Ethics and Power of AI in the Workplace

2024 #ShareTheMicInCyber Fellow Gabrielle Hibbert spoke at a virtual panel hosted by the College of William & Mary about what the development of AI means for the future of work. The panel focused on how different industries approach AI policies, why and how to cultivate data and AI literacy, and steps to ensure ethical and responsible AI use.

There will be this acceleration of a need to understand 'What is new?', 'What is coming out?', 'What's being used the most?' We do need to pay particular attention about the potential for bias when it comes to hiring for instance or even within the organizations that we work within and how we may be biasing against our co-workers and our colleagues.
