Letter to Education Department on State Authorization of Distance Education Programs

In March 2018, Amy Laitinen, director of New America’s Higher Education Initiative, co-authored a letter to the Education Department with Yan Cao of The Century Foundation, the National Consumer Law Center, and the SEIU, asking the Secretary to issue guidance on two portions of the state authorization rule for distance education programs.
