Comments on Proposed Negotiated Rulemaking

The Department published a proposed regulation on various higher education issues in May 2021. On July 1, 2021, New America's higher education team submitted public comments that highlighted priorities around the regulatory process used and urged the Department to protect students and taxpayers by strengthening higher education's rules.
