Sascha Meinrath on Building Your Own Network

“We pay more for worse service than a growing list of countries around the globe,” explains Sascha Meinrath in the second segment of an interview with PEG Point’s Jackie Hai. Discussing the benefits of community-owned broadband infrastructure, Meinrath suggests that “building your own infrastructure, owning your own infrastructure is clearly the cost-efficient way to create connectivity in your community.” However, private corporations have posed challenges to community and municipal efforts.
