The Better Life Lab produces and supports independent journalism and original research on work, care, gender equality, and family policy. We cover care across the life cycle, family-supportive policies, and workplace equity. Led by award-winning journalist Brigid Schulte, our team of researchers, journalists, and policy experts is training the next generation of reporters, setting the standard for coverage of care and work, and driving action for change across the United States.
