Will Orr

Will Orr is a PhD candidate at the Annenberg School for Communication, where his research examines the practices and assumptions that shape how Artificial Intelligence technologies are designed, evaluated, and governed. His dissertation investigates how data practitioners navigate the practical and ethical challenges of building and evaluating AI datasets. Will holds a BA from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Applied Data Analytics from the Australian National University. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the Justice and Technoscience (JusTech) Lab at ANU’s School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet).
