Senior Data Scientist, Education Funding Equity initiative
Jordan Abbott is the Senior Data Scientist for the Education Funding Equity initiative. Prior to joining New America, Jordan was a Research Assistant for the Board of Executive Directors at the Inter-American Development Bank. In this role, he contributed to the design and implementation of the Bank’s Gender and Diversity Action plan, a strategic policy framework to promote equitable development outcomes. Jordan holds an MS in Data Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University. He also received a BS in statistics and economics, as well as a BA in political science, both from the University of Pittsburgh.
