Claire Hedgespeth
Media Production
Claire Hedgespeth is a media production and marketing communications professional specializing in digital storytelling, content strategy, and audience engagement. Her work has spanned branded documentaries and television series, digital programming, 3D capture, and fundraising videos.
Prior to coming to New America, she served as Head of Production and Marketing at Avatar Dimension, a mixed-reality capture studio working with volumetric video and 3D holograms for film, advertising, and experiential media. She also spent six years at Blaze Media as supervising producer for the digital political commentary program LevinTV, working across studio, field, and live production environments.
Earlier in her career, Hedgespeth worked in television development at Story House Productions, where she researched, pitched, and sold more than 80 hours of nonfiction series and documentaries to networks in the United States and internationally, including PBS, National Geographic, Smithsonian, and History.
She holds a BA in music and a certificate in public relations from the University of Virginia. She lives with her husband in Northern Virginia, where she fosters dogs, volunteers with local shelters, produces an improv podcast, and sings in a gamer symphony orchestra.
She is excited to bring her production and storytelling experience to New America’s mission-driven work.
