Basilikí Kosmas serves as the Development Manager at New America, where she spearheads the strategic identification and engagement of potential donors, fostering relationships that align with and significantly advance the organization’s mission.
With a diverse background that bridges both the private and nonprofit sectors, Kosmas brings a wealth of experience from roles at EARTHDAY.ORG, the World Bank, the Orr Group, and other international organizations. Known for her strong communication skills and creative problem-solving, she excels in building and nurturing partnerships that drive impactful support.
Kosmas holds a master's degree in International Development Studies from George Washington University. She has further enriched her expertise with certifications from UC Davis in areas such as, Fundraising and Development Foundations, Annual Campaign Strategy, Planned Giving, and Major and Principal Gifts. These qualifications underpin her strategic approach to development, empowering her to identify and execute high-impact fundraising initiatives.
