Andrea Korte

Andrea Korte is the Editor and Content Manager at New America. In this role, Korte works closely with New America’s subject-matter experts and fellows to translate their insights into compelling short-form content.

Previously, she held several roles at the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Most recently, she managed communications strategy for the AAAS Center for STEMM Education and Workforce. Prior to that, she was integral to content development and strategy for AAAS.org, first as a writer, then as the digital manager. Prior to her tenure at AAAS, she was an editor and writer at the Nuclear Energy Institute.

Korte holds a bachelor’s degree in English from The George Washington University. A native of Arizona, she lives in Washington, DC, with her family.
