Senior Product Fellow, New Practice Lab

Lalitha Jonnalagadda is a Senior Product Fellow at New Practice lab, a product leader and civic technologist focused on building practical, user-centered digital services. Most recently, she led product and service delivery at the U.S. General Services Administration, where she worked to centralize government-wide travel experiences through shared services for all federal agencies. Previously, she led product teams at 18F, working closely with federal agency partners to ideate, develop, and launch products like the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Reporting Portal. She also led the pilot and nationwide rollout of Login.gov’s In-Person Proofing service in collaboration with USPS, expanding access to identity verification across 18,000 post offices. Jonnalagadda began her career building digital products for global nonprofits and private sector companies, including work with UNICEF, IEEE, and organizations in digital advertising, recruitment marketing, and logistics. Her cross-sector experience shapes her approach to product development—balancing policy, ethics, and delivery to build technology that works for people. She is a 2024 Stanford Ethics and Technology Practitioner Fellow, where she explores how technologists can embed ethics into fast-paced product work. Jonnalagadda is driven by the belief that technology should serve everyone—and works to ensure digital services are fair, inclusive, and accountable.
