Jessica Weeden is a service designer and researcher specializing in health care and civic tech and a Senior Design Lead with the New Practice Lab.
Prior to joining the New Practice Lab, Weeden worked at CVS Health working to build world class tools and services to facilitate the delivery of value-based care to kidney patients. She also previously spent four and half years at the U.S. Digital Service working on modernizing the Medicare claims processing system, which pays for the health care of 40 million Americans, leading user research efforts on maternal health care to inform federal policy, and increasing transparency in the asylum applicant experience. Weeden holds a master’s of design from Carnegie Mellon University and bachelor’s degree in art, media, and design from DePaul University.
Weeden currently lives outside Seattle with her husband, son, and two cats. She always has a new book to recommend.
