Response to Chairman Alexander on HEA Accountability White Paper

In February 2018, Chairman Alexander of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee published a staff white paper on accountability in the Higher Education Act, requesting comment on what a future reauthorization bill should include on the subject. These comments from the Higher Education Initiative’s Amy Laitinen, Jared Bass, and Clare McCann respond to that paper and seek to inform HEA reauthorization.
