New to the Blogosphere
You may have noticed that our blogroll is back up and running here at Early Ed Watch! On the right-hand side of our site, you’ll see some of the blogs and resources from the education community that we’ve been reading.
The Washington state-based Birth to Thrive Online, which (not unlike Early Ed Watch) is edited by a former journalist, has good coverage of early ed-related news and research. Inside Pre-K offers stories and lessons from pre-kindergarten teachers and their classrooms. And, Bridging Differences, Deborah Meier and Diane Ravitch share their disparate and shared thoughts and opinions with each other (and with us).
You’ll also notice a few new blogs: New from Ed Week is Early Years, which focuses on early childhood education trends, news, and laws. We’ve also added the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER)’s blog, Preschool Matters… Today! , and Eye on Early Education from the Massachusets non-profit Strategies for Children, inc.
