CENTCOM Confirms Two June Air Strikes in Yemen

On July 3^rd, CENTCOM confirmed in an email to New
America that it conducted two air strikes in Yemen in June 2018. One strike occurred
on June 23^rd and another on June 30^th. CENTCOM did not
provide further details on the location, target, or number of casualties from
the strikes.

In a previous email to New America, CENTCOM acknowledged
conducting one strike in May on May 14^th. Xinhua reported
a further strike on May 15^th. However it is possible this is the
same strike as the one on the 14^th. CENTCOM also acknowledged four
strikes in April 2018, seven in March, six in February, and 10 in January.
